Boy Mom

2016 was my year: I was tired, irritable, and brought the sweetest little boy into this world. Momming is a full time job, which comes with its unique ups and downs, and finding a balance is vital to our success as caregivers.

Foster Mom

It really does take a tribe. Our village has blessed us with the opportunity to expand our family with non-biological children and to build relationships with their biological families in our community.

Dog Mom

Cleaning up dog poop on weekends doesn't appeal to many, but the enjoyment I get from volunteering and fostering dogs for a local rescue has been a great form of self care... And yes, it is hard to watch them leave when they get adopted, but it's totally worth it.
